It is with deep regret we announce the death of Brother Arthur B.
Hughes, who passed away after an illness of 3 day. He was an able and true
Union man. For about 30 ears he served the cause. No. 124 will miss his
counsel and forethought and extends its heartfelt sympathy to the family
of the deceased brother. |

HYDE PARK. A QUIET WEDDING. |

At half past four o’clock on Wednesday afternoon, Miss Hannah Harris was married to Mr. Arthur Hughes, at the home of the bride’s parents on N. Hyde Park avenue, by Rev. L. C. Floyd. The pretty bride was becomingly attired in a blue cloth costume, and wore roses. Miss Elvira Harris was bridesmaid, and Robert Harris groomsman. Only the immediate relatives were present at the ceremonies. After the knot was tied a supper was served, and the young couple left for Danville and Philadelphia to spend their honeymoon, after which they will reside in Pottstown, where Mr. Hughes is employed in a foundry. On last Monday evening Mrs. Harris-Hughes was surprised at her home by the Simpson Epworth league of which she is a member, and an enjoyable time ensued: as a memento of the occasion the league presented their hostess with a handsome silver pickle castor. |
